Summary: Review Request: msmtp - an SMTP client https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=243631 ------- Additional Comments From nikolay@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2007-06-20 13:30 EST ------- I did some further research - read the documentation, talked to a sys admin. msmtp doesn't provide sendmail functionality. It's more of a relay agent than a full feature MTA. So it's not an alternative to sendmail. Maybe the other programs are and in their case the use of alternatives is good. So I think that msmtp shouldn't use alternatives. For now i'll leave the provides for sendmail. I'll think it over again. And post the package tomorow. The problem with libgsasl is that it also requires GNU Sishi for KERBEROS_V5. It's not needed for msmtp but libgsasl will not be fully functional. The last sishi release was from last year so maybe it's no longer developed and I'll have no trouble maintaining it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
