Just for the record, the %setup macro is flexible enough due to its various options. It could handle a different top-level directory. It just defaults to -n %{name}-%{version}. Consider pointing the fedora-review tool at this ticket: fedora-review -b 1202063 It evaluates the "Spec URL:" and "SRPM URL:" lines, downloads the latest files, performs local test-builds and runs various checks on the build results.
