They don't use the same tools as us under Linux, so they won't necessarily be aware of the problems we find. The naming issue is the touchy one. Ordinarily I'd just ask upstream to just apply the canonical font naming defined by Microsoft, but I suspect Adobe may have another naming standard they are pushing.
