I think we can still keep going to work on this review to have it prepared for
the future.

Ah, I see the problem now. The same issue has mysql as well and it is solved
there by removing all libmysqlclient_r.so.18.* links and keeping just
libmysqlclient_r.so for backward compatibility. However, since
  $ repoquery --whatrequires '*libmysqlclient_r.so*'
returns no results, what about to remove all libmysqlclient_r.so* links for now
and see if anybody needs it at all?
