The switch -w is common to almost all dockapps. These applets are intended to
be running in a dock rather than a window. And the docks (in Afterstep,
Blackbox, Fluxbox, Openbox and Windowmaker) doesn't behave identically.
Sometimes the switch is needed, sometimes not. That's why I wouldn't add -w
generally. In my Fluxbox dock (named "slit" here) the switch is not needed for
pclock, but wmnet needs it.
