Obsoletes: %{name} < 0.1.2 It should be obvious that a package with higher NEVR will obsolete the same package with lower NEVR. Moreover, are you sure that "Requires: erlang-erts" is mandatory? I do not think that this is required to install erlang-rpm-macros. It will be probably required by spec files that need erlang to build the RPM.
