Actually, it seems that my bluetooth device got into some strange state and I
kept getting usb errors in dmesg. A hard reset (poweroff and take out the
battery) seems to have helped. Now both eee-control and rfkill work fine.

Is there another gui? It seems a bit stupid to have to use root priviledges
just to turn bluetooth on/off.

Maybe that could be made part of the acpi-cpufreq or thereabouts?
