If you want me to, I can perform any tests that you feel that could be useful, but only in Centos 5 ( the only computer at hand with Wi-Fi is a laptop which runs C5; switching to anything else is not an option). As a sidenote and probably not Fedora but RHEL related, on the very same laptop wicd from the Backtrack livecd performs WAY better.
