I tested only on rawhide. I also tested the SASL auth with various SASL configs and it worked as expected. What I did (on rawhide): # /etc/init.d/sendmail stop # /etc/init.d/sendmail start # echo test | sendmail root # sync # logwatch --range today --detail 10 --print --service All # grep -r sasl2 /var/log/* And I can not see this error on rawhide. I am also going to check the F12/F13. Please can you point me directly to place where this error is logged?
