As a reviewer I consider it my duty not only to run "rpmlint", but to check for a package's qualtity. In this particular case, upstream apparently is committing almost all newbie's faults newbie's can trip over. > I don't think that it is up to the packager to > check the warnings, reporting is enough, especially when the > warnings may be innocuous. Well, I consider it a packager's responsibility to provide safe integration of a package into the distro and to apply whatever measures are needed. IMNSHO, this package has not reached a shape to justify inclusion into Fedora. I definitely will NOT formally review nor approve it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
