That's half the story. Apparently the authors themselves have patents on
algorithms in the code, they only removed foreign algorithms. I *assume* that
the authors would grant rights to use within Fedora and similar projects, but
I'd only like to ask if Fedora Legal would accept such a modus. I'm going to
raise that issue on the extras list.
