Summary: Review Request: python-gmpy - Python interface to GMP https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=527462 Summary: Review Request: python-gmpy - Python interface to GMP Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: medium Priority: low Component: Package Review AssignedTo: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: mjg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx QAContact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: notting@xxxxxxxxxx, fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx Estimated Hours: 0.0 Classification: Fedora SPEC URL: http://mjg.fedorapeople.org/rpmdev/python-gmpy.spec (based on mandriva version 1.01-3) SRPM URL: http://mjg.fedorapeople.org/rpmdev/python-gmpy-1.04-1.fc11.src.rpm Upstream URL: http://code.google.com/p/gmpy/ Description: The General Multiprecision PYthon project (GMPY) focuses on Python-usable modules providing multiprecision arithmetic functionality to Python programmers. The project mission includes both C and C++ Python-modules (for speed) and pure Python modules (for flexibility and convenience); it potentially includes integral, rational and floating-point arithmetic in any base. Only cross-platform functionality is of interest, at least for now. Additional comments: python-mpmath (in review) makes use of gmpy when present. This speeds up the mpmath unit tests by a factor 2.3 for me. Of course, gmpy is of independent interest (e.g. standalone, sage). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
