What flexibility do > you gain by making a separate noarch -doc package strictly require two -devel > packages and their dependency-chain? None. It has become less flexible. Have it in separate subpackage -examples, which solve it trouble, also do not acceptable by your. > Technically, ne7ssh-doc does not need ne7ssh-devel for anything. Technically ne7ssh-doc contain examples and Makefile which actually need ne7ssh-devel to demonstrate it. So, if I omit it dependency make will be fail. I do not want intensionally make broken dependency. I think it is a main maintainer task create correct package dependencies. So, who install any package may expect what installed package work without any manual manipulation. And there have no mater this is game, o package for developer. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
