Summary: Review Request: vtk - The Visualization Toolkit - A high level 3D visualization library https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=199405 qspencer@xxxxxxxx changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |qspencer@xxxxxxxx ------- Additional Comments From qspencer@xxxxxxxx 2006-09-22 16:12 EST ------- I'm trying to build a VTK application and I saw that a package is being reviewed, so I built your SRPM and tried it. I'm running into compilation errors associated with the other application, and I'm starting to think the bug is in VTK. It's looking for headers in paths that include the build path for the VTK SRPM. I started greping the libraries and found that there are a lot of strings in the libraries that contain the build path. The following example illustrates the problem: strings /usr/lib/libvtkCommon.so | grep VTK/Common It seems that either some cmake configure option is missing, or there is some bug in VTK itself. Unfortunately this is the first time I have used cmake, so I'm not able to debug this any further. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
