Hi, I've been working on a Fedora news hub, to be released as an app (which will be open-sourced). I was hoping to be able to use Fedora branding for the app, when publishing it on app stores. I've emailed the @logo alias [1], but as stated in the wiki [2], I understand it takes time for a response. However, I was hoping to get some additional guidance from the Marketing team about the procedure and permissions involved. If anyone has any ideas or can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! :) Cheers, Arvind Chembarpu [achembar@xxxxxxxxxx] Fedora QA Intern, Red Hat Bangalore [1] Email thread: ----- Quoted Message ----- > From: "Arvind Chembarpu" <achembar@xxxxxxxxxx> > To: logo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Cc: "Sudhir D" <sdharane@xxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Monday, July 11, 2016 5:13:25 PM > Subject: Re: Permission to use Fedora Branding in Mobile App > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Arvind Chembarpu" <achembar@xxxxxxxxxx> > > To: logo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Cc: "Sudhir D" <sdharane@xxxxxxxxxx> > > Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2016 5:00:27 PM > > Subject: Permission to use Fedora Branding in Mobile App > > > > Hi, > > > > I'm a Fedora QA Intern, working with Sudhir D (Fedora QA Manager) > > [sdharane@xxxxxxxxxx], at Red Hat Bangalore. > > > > We're working on a mobile app, which will offer an integrated hub to view > > resources like the Fedora Magazine and Ask Fedora. > > Further, this will be an open-sourced, hybrid web/mobile app, which is to > > be published on app stores. > > To this end, Fedora logo branding in the app would be required, so I would > > like to request permission to obtain and use Fedora branding materials in > > the app. > > > > Cheers, > > Arvind Chembarpu > > [achembar@xxxxxxxxxx] > > Hi, > > Just thought I'd follow-up since it's been a bit a more than 2 weeks now.
