Yeah, I can write about the Plex-Media-Player. I took an old machine and turned it into a Plex streaming box that would boot right into Plex with no desktop environment. I originally did it on Ubuntu, but don't see why Fedora wouldn't work since they use QT.

I'd also like to write about Netdata, but I can do that after the Plex streaming box.

I think this idea should be doable. I'll make sure to bring it up with the editing team at tomorrow's meeting if someone doesn't chime in on the list before then.

If you have the time for writing the pitch on Netdata before tomorrow, feel free to try getting that one in and we'll review at tomorrow's meeting too.

Thanks!

Other than the Plex software everything should be available with DNF. The Plex Media Server isn't FOSS though and there's third-party executables included with the installer that is licensed through Plex. I can write something else if that's a problem. I like Netdata on Github and could write about that too. Luckily there's no lack of news in the Linux world.

Okay, I don't think we could write an article about the Media Server setup or install, but using the client might be something that would still be doable if that interests you (wouldn't hurt for Paul or Ryan to double-check me on that one to be sure).

Netdata sounds like a neat idea for an article. If you have other ideas or want feedback, just let us know and we'll be happy to provide some. :)
