Maybe you want do your Event Organization Inside Ambassadors, along > http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraEvents hi, Not at the moment... will be in the future. Currently I'm gathering support from several institutions. Basically what I am planning to do is the following: * Fix space (will enable to set a date) * Set a date for event * Form a webpage for the event (wordpress based) * Approach and gather strategical partners (locally) * Plan Communication * Plan Deployment * Approach Fedora with a full event plan seeking for support * Discuss support and finish the master plan (Fedora brand promotion, involvement, support etc) * Go live. I'm trying to give no overload to people on Fedora neither mess with the on-going stuff. I will go to ambassadors once I have dates, spots, needs, requirements, etc with a direct proposal for Fedora Ambassadors to analyze and provide help. I do want some local institutions involved, so I need to build first a nice cost/benefits relation to favor them, since they are the ones injecting the resources for this to happen, in orders words, they pay for our promotion. I managed to "scare" the Administrator/Dean of my institution already with the list of people involved on this and organizations I want to reach ;) It's in the good track and they required me a full document on the event so that they can send to their Marketing Department for evaluation. They organize around 180 events each year, so this is the most important thing, without fixing first the involvement of my Institute for the promotion on this event and establishing an approach between Fedora and IPAM. I'll take this into ambassadors in the end of this process, when I actually have something to show ;) nelson > > > cu Joerg > > > -- Nelson Marques <07721@xxxxxxx> -- marketing mailing list marketing@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/marketing
