Dude, we had already experimented a 9 months release cycle and the experiment was a complete failure. Fedora Legacy closed its door because it lacked contributors. Current release schedule perfectly fits FedoraProject and community, and nobody would be gainst extending support, we're just lacking contributions If you want a longer support cycle, feel free to revive Fedora Legacy or just use CentOS.
