Ubuntu also doesn't have some of the foci of the Fedora Project. I agree that Ubuntu is a better home consumer desktop in most aspects, but I find Fedora is a much better corporate desktop. I recently had to deal with the frustration of Ubuntu on a corporate network of UNIX/Linux desktops/workstations/servers (and not merely just a few Windows servers). Not fun, and missing a lot of capability and compatibility I'm used to with Linux in a production UNIX network. ;) Fedora drops in just like RHEL, with all the features I expect. While it's great to try to cater to home consumers as much as we can, I like the fact that Fedora has some additional focus -- especially one that keeps it going strong by both the community as well as Red Hat itself. -- Bryan J.
