Yes.

i saw some info on using things like mod_proxy instead ?

Not recommended (just like directly connecting OGo on its HTTP port).

BTW: OGo trunk now works on x86_64. It probably has some 64bit
related bugs, but so far I haven't discovered anything obvious.
Well if things end up in FE there surely will be more ppl testing things
on "weird" 64bit platforms like S390 and find more bugs :-)

Is S390 Linux 64bit now? Last time I compiled OGo on such a machine the Linux was 31/32bit.
