I had a simillar problem which was fixed by removing AC_CANONICAL_TARGET from configure.ac and then running autoreconf --force --install -- fedora-extras-list mailing list fedora-extras-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-extras-list
