I am having trouble building the latest pitivi package on Fedora Rawhide using plague. The build log is available at: http://buildsys.fedoraproject.org/logs/fedora-development-extras/9022-pitivi-0.10.0-3/noarch/build.log The interesting part states: checking for gnonlin >= 0.10.2... ./configure: line 2641: 25551 Illegal instruction $PYTHON -c "$prog" 1>&5 2>&5 not found configure: error: You need to install the gnonlin plugins and make sure they are in your $GST_PLUGIN_PATH.
My guess would be a gcc/glibc issue for PPC with the latest rawhide that's generating a bad python binary (or perhaps a gnonlin binary). You might look for open bugs or check fedora-devel/-testers for posts.
What is $prog above? Try running the test in gdb to see where it crashes. You might wait a day or two for rawhide to magically fix it. -- Orion Poplawski System Administrator 303-415-9701 x222 Colorado Research Associates/NWRA FAX: 303-415-9702 3380 Mitchell Lane, Boulder CO 80301 http://www.co-ra.com -- fedora-extras-list mailing list fedora-extras-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-extras-list
