Hi all,
I have made some small changes to the orphaned packages wiki page. It
now can document retired packages.
With the lack of an official policy on how a package is to be retired,
it's really up to the packager to make that choice. This is just a means
to record this status.
Some basic criteria:
No upstream
No activity upstream
Release critical bugs (where there is no upstream to fix)
Packager does not want to be responsible for the above.
There is no policy about taking a package out of retired status, just
have to be aware that you will take on responsibility for release
critical bugs.
