I don't feel that burring out old fedora history and blaming this and that will help. It will probably only stir up some arguments again and generate another dichotomy. The current picture of fedora core/extras/legacy/etc. is a far more healthier than it was, when I stepped away (at least from my personal POV) and that's what really matters.
