I think that may be the case, but I also think that there are issues that aren't easy to bring up on the technical lists that are real and would be benefitted by a list: lesson plans, programs that other teachers like, etc. I won't feel badly if the list doesn't fly, but I have a gut sense that new classroom FLOSS users need a list like this.
