Hi, I've been using Fedora since version 1 and before that Red Hat Linux. I don't have any experience with writing, but I'm always willing to contribute when I can. That's why I reported that the docs website is broken for ro-RO [1] and fixed a formatting error in the install guide [2]. I invite you to read a couple of my answers from Stack Exchange [3] to get a glimpse of the way I write and explain things: - http://stackoverflow.com/a/82278/12892 - http://serverfault.com/a/547144/4276 - http://superuser.com/a/665895/2357 - http://superuser.com/a/662549/2357 - http://serverfault.com/a/39300/4276 I also happen to be a Fedora packager. I have a CS/EE degree and I've worked as a system administrator and software developer, so technical stuff shouldn't be a major issue for me. Though keep in mind that I've just started using DocBook. I help people on #fedora and #coding-n00bs from time to time, so I'm used to the point of view of newbies. I'm joining this group because I want to fix tiny issues with less overhead and without bugging the leaders too much. For example, I noticed a typo in the release notes - Flikr instead of Flickr. I mentioned this on the channel, but since people were too busy to fix it, I cloned the git repository and fixed it myself. Right now I'm bugging randomuser about how to apply my patches :-) pub 4096R/EB05A811 2013-10-14 [expires: 2016-10-13] Key fingerprint = BDFF 9244 BB7B 9C2A 83F4 F0D1 CA00 7014 EB05 A811 uid Cristian Ciupitu (ciupicri) <cristian.ciupitu@xxxxxxxxx> sub 4096R/CBB09BFB 2013-10-14 [expires: 2016-10-13] Kind regards, Cristian Ciupitu https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ciupicri [1]: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=998327 [2]: https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/docs/install-guide.git/commit/?id=4d2327b61f969c8eac98586b4a660d50f99449fb [3]: http://stackexchange.com/users/7423/cristian-ciupitu -- docs mailing list docs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/docs
