Some people wait for a while to learn how things work around here, but you can just as easily get started now. If you're not sure where to start, but you don't want to wait, I recommend editing the wiki. We call this "wiki gardening." It's funny, but a wiki page that definitely needs help is the "Docs Project tasks for new contributors!" https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs_Project_content_tasks_for_new_contributors You could add the rest of the official Guides with a brief description, links to the fedorahosted.org web sites, and to the profile pages of their maintainers. You would be helping future contributors, and learning about what the Docs Project does at the same time.
