My name's Garland Binns. I recently just switched to Fedora 12 from Windows 7 and love it! I'm currently working to assist the websites team where I can and also would love to participate in the Docs project. I am especially interested in working on the Wiki. Below is some additional information based about myself.
- What other projects or writing have I worked on in the past? I studied English and Creative Writing extensively in college at UC Santa Cruz. Outside of this, I am a full-time web developer, project manager, and Internet marketing professional. I work on all kinds of projects which rely on my ability to create good documentation in order to be successful.
- What level and type of computer skills do I have? I am familiar with HTML/CSS and some PHP - I am also very proficient in the latest word/document processing platforms.
- What other skills do I have that might be applicable? I'm also proficient in GIMP and MediaWiki. I love being part of a team.
- What makes me an excellent match for the project? You all can trust me and count on me. I'm also very organized and quick to reply when needed.
