Users not able to boot any of the CD/DVDs is a problem. Not able to
boot after installation is also related. Unfortunately, problem
booting is not uniquely F7's. It really needs to be posted at a
prominent place so we can direct people to go there.
If there are generic solutions they can be in the installation guide itself. Post to fedora-docs list if you are interested in contributing any documentation.

What, another dang list to subscribe to?

If you want to contribute, yes. It is pretty much impossible for the project to function with a single list. You might use something like gmane if you aren't fond of lists.

Please mention Smart Boot Manager: <para><quote><ulink

an OS independent and full-featured boot manager with an easy-to-use
user interface. There are some screen shots available.</quote> It is
essential if your BIOS will not allow you to boot to CD-ROM and you
want to use a CD-ROM based Linux for Stage 1 recovery.</para>

Folks may find useful some of the resources in my Linux Complete
Backup and Recovery HOWTO,

CC'ed fedora-docs list.
