Although I did not find the nsDirectoryServerTask oclass I did find a way around it. I have another question regarding exporting a MMR enabled replica. I plan on scripting this on a weekly basis. As I understand it, when using db2ldif with the -r option it is necessary to stop the directory before running the command. My question is why exactly is that, can it cause corruption?
You can get an inconsistent LDIF file. It should not corrupt the database.
That is correct. You can do the export using the task interface without stopping the server. Also the documentation for using tasks to export replicas does not mention having to stop the directory, can you confirm that it is not necessary to stop the directory before using tasks to export a replica?
Thank you On Wed, Jul 22, 2009 at 8:56 AM, TechieHello, I am looking to automate some things with cn=tasks?. I have read the Task invocation info but no nsdirectoryservertask objectclass exists even in the source from what I see.Where can I get the schema file with this O class?
