I think it's an endianness problem with hardware cursors. I thought
there was a bug filed for it.
I scanned through the bugs for the xorg-x11-drv-ati as both my PPC
systems have radeon chipsets but didn't see anything obvious that stood
out, so I hope it isn't a dupe
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437894). Adding "SWcursor"
"on" to the xorg.conf file does 'fix' it so it does appear related to
hardware cursors.
