Network problems

Since the updates from 20080311 or so the wired network is acting up.

This is a Toshiba Tecra with an e1000 and an iw3945.

Pluging into the wired network shows an eth1 up in NetworkManager (no
such device here!), I have to "killall dhclient; rmmod e1000e; modprobe
e1000e; dhclient eth0" to get the wired network to work. When the wired
network is plugged in the WiFi doesn't work (might be a setup problem, I
rarely use the wireless here at work).

Any ideas?
