As a KDE SIG member, I'd really hate getting FESCo mandates about the icon 
sizes to use in Dolphin, and I expect the (GNOME) Desktop Team members to think 
the same, so I'm against such a mandate for Nautilus too.

Issues which only affect one desktop should be decided on by the relevant 
desktop team/SIG. Issues which affect more than one desktop should be discussed 
between the affected teams, and only escalated to some committee (FPC, FESCo, 
Board) as a last resort if no agreement can be reached.
