Another way is grabbing the gcc 4.3 packages from koji and install them in your Fedora 8. yum install --enablerepo=development update 'gcc*' Or recursively grab contents of http://koji.fedoraproject.org/packages/gcc/4.3.0/0.10/x86_64/ and do a rpm -Fvh *x86_64.rpm in that directory.
