I would like to propose that the CD Desktop spin also always run as root. Users do not know how to correctly use file permissions (or even know what they are) and they often are annoyed that they cannot simply remove useless directories like /usr that serve no apparent purpose but occupy a lot of space. Ah, also, can we run Fedora on a FAT file system by default, it's a much easier file system to deal with and works on Cameras too and it is not case sensitive, which is really helpful, case sensitivity is sooo annoying ... And also those annoying pop-ups asking for the root of a password when you want to change some configuration? What in the earth is the root of a password? I'd say login as root with no password is the best for usability, please consider it! </SCNR> -- | Simo S Sorce | | Sr.Soft.Eng. | | Red Hat, Inc | | New York, NY | -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
