List,

I need some guidance. I would like to build packages for a few perl modules to be submitted. What is the overall view of using something like cpan2rpm for building rpms or spec files? How would a package built using this hold up during the review process? I am not real experienced in building rpms but would really like to give getting these modules included a shot.

My long-term goal for doing this is to eventually get netdisco (Netdisco is an Open Source web-based network management tool. See http://netdisco.org) packaged and submitted. However, there are a number of dependencies (the perl modules) that need to be packaged and submitted first. Any guidance and/or suggestions would really be appreciated.

Thanks,
