Exactly. ... The point is: This script accuses packagers, though they
can't do anything about it.

All they did was to "request pushes" and "rel-eng" having decided not to
process them, ... in this case due to the release-freeze (an
understandable purpose).

A clever script, and a reasonable work-flow would take this situation
into account. It would know that the updates are available and would not
complain.
