I have these installed; NM seems to be scanning properly, but seems
only to accept HEX keys in the 'prompt for key popups' for both WEP
and WPA.
That to be expected?

That NM only accepts hex keys is going to be a big problem for me, too,
as my WPA2 AP only even lets me set a passphrase.
Of course, I've got bigger problems with my iwl3945 than NM:
