* atime is a feature necessary to provide certain features to
applications, such as time-based clean ups.
* lack of atime in a filesystem cause functional regressions.

SELinux is completely optional and doesn't cause functional regression.

You are. You've asked for opinions and so far have been completely
ignoring any counterarguments and demonstrated your lack of
