Hurray! Finally 3D support for ATI Xpress 200M arrived. At least it's advertised with the new driver in glxinfo. This driver absolutely requires Mesa 7.0[.1]. With current Mesa 6.5.2 X will lock up as soon as I start any 3D app, say glxgears.
