AFAIK it doesn't cause trouble. Deluge went from noarch (0.4.x) to
arch-specific (0.5.x) in February, due to a change in how rb_libtorrent
was used internally; and I've heard of no bugs or troubles from it.

Just make sure that your EVR of the arch-specific package is higher than
that of the noarch one and you should be okay.
