Actually in my eyes it would make perfect sense to have a networkmanager umts plugin because the current ppp support just doesent provide the required functionality to provide proper umts functionality integration. What it is essentially missing is: * the showing of signal strenght and * the possibility to scan for and * switch to different providers as well as * maybe some configuration option to either track the spent time in a defined timeframe and/or * the used up bandwidth. opinions welcome! regards, Rudolf Kastl
