As a long-time apt-rpm user, I think it's great to have you working on RPM itself. You managed to resurrect apt-rpm at a time where people were giving up on it and implement the 2 most-requested features (multilib and repomd support), the latter also making the issue of repos dropping support for it irrelevant. :-) And now you and Paul are resurrecting the RPM upstream project and cleaning up the huge mountain of bitrot which had formed, and I've noticed you're also working on fixing longstanding annoying bugs like "provides as obsoletes" (already fixed for 4.4.2.1) and "uninstalling multilib package erases files" (fix under discussion). I'd really like to thank you for picking up that thankless job and also for all the work you're doing on the apt-rpm project (looking forward to a stable release with sqlite repomd support), you really deserve those thanks!
