If you want to become a fedora packager, you should certainly read

Maybe you could have a look at this submission:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=184080

A quick reading shows that the spec submitted wasn't really up to the
packaging standards in fedora.
