The prestomd format is actually identical to the repomd format with a datatype of "deltas" for presto.xml.gz file. Yum-presto will look in repomd.xml for "deltas" if there is no prestomd.xml file available. It should be quite simple to put the small amount of code in createprestorepo that is different from createrepo back into createrepo and add a -d option to createrepo that generates presto.xml.gz and adds it to repomd.xml Jonathan
