Although I originally posted regarding the hp-toolbox bug, I had hoped for a much wider opinion regarding advertising (and the discussion as it turned to trademarks as well). Are we ok with letting CodecBuddy direct users to the Fluendo webstore? Are there going to be providions for equal access for other vendors? Also, for example. CUPS admin page has the "Easy Software Products" logo, and a link to the "Pro" version of the product and the companies home page which has products for sale.
