Does not work for me on Thinkpad X60 using 'stock Rawhide' NetworkManager.

Association fails both with WEP and 'no key'.

Rebooting, killing off NetworkManager, I get:
[root@localhost ~]# ifup wlan0
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
   SET failed on device wmaster0 ; Operation not supported.

Determining IP information for wmaster0... failed.
[root@localhost ~]#
