Support for Geyser IV was added around mid November. Your product ID
should be 0x021B, according to appletouch.c.

Then I must say sorry. I should have read the Gentoo page entirely.
There's indeed the problem that usbhid starts the device in legacy mouse
mode, and appletouch can't claim the device afterwards. So usbhid should
be prevented to handle these devices.

But we can stop here. This problem is known:

Further discussion should go there... or not, because it's simply
waiting for _someone_ to work that out ;)
