I prefer 'text/html; elinks -default-mime-type text/html %s' in my
.mutt/mailcap anyway.

Removing the hard requirement on w3m sounds like a good idea, and
moving mutt to Extras sounds like an equally good idea.

On the subject of moving things to Extras, how about perl-LDAP
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=190887)?
