/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libhesiod.so.0 is not a symbolic link
The pertinent part of /usr/lib looks like this:
[root@LinuxNew2 lib]# ll libhe*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16846 Mar 30 17:40 libhesiod.a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Mar 31 10:03 libhesiod.so ->
libhesiod.so.0.0.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 42747 Mar 30 17:40 libhesiod.so.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 40863 Mar 30 17:40 libhesiod.so.0.0.0
[root@LinuxNew2 lib]#
How should this be fixed?
Hesiod appears to have moved to versioned sonames since FC5.
Try moving libhesiod.so.0 out of the way and rerunning ldconfig.
Paul.
